by Marybeth Lopez
Hello, Poppystamps friends. Happy April to you all. Marybeth Lopez here with you today sharing a card with some pretty blooms. I used the newest Poppystamps dies : Flower Field Corner and cut it twice so that I could cut the second one apart. ( darker color) I also used the larger Potpourri Flower Set ad used the smaller blooms, also cut out twice for extra blooms in the patterned paper .
I simply layered some of the blooms on top of the darker color and also snipped the Corner die so that I could add a few more of the larger leaves around the circle . The Pinpoint Circle Frame from memory box is an older die but always one of my favorites. You could also use any of the circle dies if you don't have this one, or a square.
I cut the top panel and to raise it up I also cut some fun foam and the another piece of paper to stamp my sentiment one. I used Poppystamps , newest set called Colorful Life, all listed and linked below.
In the center and around the blooms I used Open Studio Fairy Jewels ( Christmas) for the color. The Fairy Jewels are also self adhesive and so easy to use.
I had so much fun layering these blooms and making them my own. (you can too). I hope I have inspired you to head to the craft room and or do some fun shopping. Or using what you have and make a few changes to you bloom dies.
I will be making more of these in different colors in the future. Have a wonderful peaceful week.
Let not, your hearts, be troubled.
Oh this is so pretty and you have used such lovely muted colours. Lovely dies! xx
Beautiful, love the combo of plain cardstock and pattern paper for the cutting of the dies!
Hi Marybeth, Such an elegant and classy card, I absolutely adore the flower field corner die set, it has such a beautiful 'flow' and here you have combined it with these utterly gorgeous 3-D flowers, culminating in this truly beautiful and elegant card.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
