Poppystamps 3.31.22.1

Hello crafty friends, Candice, here back on the blog with another card to share. Today's project is a bright and cheery card using the new Freestyle hugs, Penelope Pinpoint Frame and Potpourri Flower die sets.

Poppystamps 3.31.22.2

This card is heavy on the die cutting, but still very simple to make. I die cut the frame and flowers from white cardstock.  I colored the flowers using my Distress Oxide inks and an ink blending tool. I sprayed each flower with a bit of water to give it a more two toned, watercolor look.

Next I die cut the sentiment from white cardstock for the word hugs; and black cardstock for the shadow and adhered the two with some liquid glue.  Then I arranged all of the flowers in a diagnal across the card and used some press-n-seal to adhered my floral arrangement to my card front panel that conains the Penelope Pinpoint Frame underneath.

Lastly I adhered the sentiment to the card with some foam tape and added clear jewels to the centers of the flowers.  This card makes me want to sit and relax on a beach with nice cold drink in hand.

I hope you liked today's card project and found inspiration.  Until next time....Happy Crafting!

Hi Candice, I adore the 'flow' of this card, the pinpoint frame is gorgeous, and the 'arc-ing' of the flowers truly beautiful, I love it !!
Lots of love from Patricia xx
