Hello Sunshine

Poppystamps 3.30.22.1

Hello crafty friends, hope you are all enjoying your week.

Today's card share is magical theme card  using our popular Whittle Rainbow Unicorn Kit and the new Colorful Life stamps set.  I just love the unicorn and rainbow dies in this set. These two dies combined with the coordinating sentiments from the Colorful Life stamps make awesome magical themed cards.

Although the Whittle Rainbow Unicorn Kit comes with its own sentiment stamp, I think the new Colorful Life stamp set has good sentiments to coordinate with kit.

This card comes together very easily. I simply die cut all of the elements of the unicorn and rainbow from white cardstock.  Then with my copic markers I colored in the unicorn. Next, I die cut the wings and the horn of the unicorn from some gold cardstock scraps and adhered it to the unicorn with liquid glue for added interest.

I used my distress oxide inks in peacock feathers, mustard seed, twisted citron, spun sugar, wild honey and picked raspberry to color each of the rays on the rainbow.  To color the rays I used the direct to paper method and swiped each ink pad onto the white cardstock.

Lastly I die cut the stars from some yellow cardstock scraps and stamped the sentiment in versafine onxy black ink.  The card front panel is popped up on foam tape for added dimension and interest.

I hope you liked today's card project and found inspiration. I know many of the design team members have been making unicorn cards lately, so hopefully this design provides you with another way to use the kit.

Until next time....Happy Crafting!
