Flower Fields For You by Kim Singdahlsen

The latest release at Poppystamps includes some truly beautiful flowers and some lovely new sentiments. As I was looking at the Flower Field Corner and also the For You Poe Script it started to occur to me that they would fit well together! I knew I also had some gorgeous papers for the background in Memory Box's new Vintage Pastel Mirror pad so I cut out a square and arranged them to fit. (You can see the "mirror" in the paper on the close up photo below.) To fill the full square, I trimmed the itty bitty flower in the upper left from the corner die - it just fills in the space.

I love the way these dies work together! I could imagine this in other simple color combos - a dark blue and white or even a black and white - or maybe a folksy look in red and white! The flowers have wonderful details and I love the font of the sentiment. So it just takes these dies to create a beautiful arrangement.

I love the flowers so much, I added more in the background using the Flower Field Tall Curve Border die. This die works perfectly if you cut two of them and arrange them on both sides. It leaves an oval area for your sentiment. But I wanted just a hint of flowers so I kept them on one side and just did white-on-white.

I love it when the dies do all the work! There are literally only four diecuts on this card (including the square) and a beautiful piece of paper. It doesn't get much easier!
