Hello and Happy 2022 to you all. Marybeth Lopez  here today with a bright happy card.

As I am putting  away some of the red from Christmas, I found myself wanting some pretty pinks and pail oranges ( one of my very favorite combos ). I decided to use one of the newer Holiday dies from Poppystamps , called: Poinsettia Background . I just made it pretty blooms.

I used : Open Studio Watercolor Paper and my Zig watercolor pens to color the background  for my blooms petals. I love the way it turned out once cut.

After placing each bloom in the spot I wanted I cut the die out, then repeated until I had three blooms. I then placed the petals inside the cut outline and used just bits of glue.

I cut the Poinsettia out using Lush Green paper pack and only used the leaves to place inside the outline.
