A Whittle Christmas Scene

The Whittles are celebrating Christmas!!  I've used a variety of older Whittles dies along with the brand new Scalloped Stitch Frames to create my wintery scene.

The scene was created with the Evergreen Trio and one of the little Chirping Birds.  Then I added a sparkly Whittle Snowman with his bright red hat.  FYI - the new holiday release has a Whittle Friendly Snowman and not that my snowman isn't friendly(!) but he's an older snowman and he's smaller so he worked with the evergreen.  The little Whittles are the babies in a couple of sets: Whittle Hedgehog Duo and Whittle Squirrel

There were a couple of frame sets in the new Holiday release.  This is the Scalloped Stitch Frame. It comes with three sizes and it's very versatile because the inside stitched section is separate from the scallop section.  You could use them separately, or for my card I layered up the scallop section three times and then tucked just one layer of the stitched section inside for some extra dimension.

The holidays just have to have glitter so I used a white and a green glitter from the Memory Box Frosted Glitter pad. Then I topped the frosty green tree with a red dot from the Christmas Fairy Crystals. I sponged a little blue behind my grouping before I adhered anything, then just a few blue jewels as some snowflakes.

Finally - the sentiment. The new Christmas Quotes Clear Stamp and die set is just right especially "from our home to yours"!  It's a classic set full of traditional sentiments in basic shapes with coordinating dies. The set could work for any card. I love having go-to sets like this!

I hope my Whittle Christmas Scene has given you a holiday smile!
