Whittle Friendly Snowman
by Sue McRae
Hello everyone! Sue here with a card I featured during the Poppystamps Instagram Hop we had on October 15th. If you missed it, start the hop here.
I started by adhering the Watercolor Forest Greenery Washi Tape onto white cardstock and cut out an oval shape from it.
I then die cut the Diamond Snowflake Oval Frame from blue glitter cardstock and adhered the washi piece behind it. This was attached to the card base.
I die cut the body and head of the Whittle Friendly Snowman from White Woodgrain paper (it adds texture), his eyes, nose and hat from white cardstock and his scarf from plaid cardstock. Using Copics I coloured in the hat, nose and eyes.
I assembled the snowman and popped it up with foam squares. Love how jaunty he looks in his plaid scarf and top hat!
I felt there wasn’t an ideal spot for a sentiment on the card front so I put it on the inside.
Thanks for stopping by the blog today!
