Welcome September! by Nancy Penir

A very grateful welcome to the month of September! And to all of you Poppy Peeps! Nancy here, and I have a very fall-ish card to start off the season of falling leaves, cooler weather, and our children returning to school! (Yay!)

So Very Thankful began it's life with Poppystamps' Autumn Leaves Sidekick Frame, one of my all time favs!

Yep! You're seeing right, I started with white cardstock. Also die cut my image from colored foam.

The sidekick frame comes with a stencil which allows careful and selective coloring. I used my sponge daubers and oxide inks.

The foam die cut really gives the image a lift. I added Nuvo Glimmer paste over the top colored die cut. Also you can see a few shadow leaves stamped in the sentiment frame.
