Hi there crafty friends, Candice here back on the blog with another Copic coloring card using the Memory Box All the Happiness Stamp and die set. This large 6x9 stamp set comes with two gorgeous floral blooms that are perfect for coloring. Each stamp has a coordinating die for you to cut out the flowers.
Today I am using the larger floral from the stamp set to make another mini slimline card. I absolutely love Black and White. These are my two my favorite colors of the rainbow. Yes I know, Black is the absence of color and white is technically not a color, but I am a sucker for black and white anything.
To make this card, I began by stamping the floral image with my Gina K Almagam ink. This ink is black and bold and perfect for using with Copic Markers.
I colored the red petals of the flowers with R37,R35 and R32. I always start with the darkest marker first then move to my medium shade (i.e. R35) then finally blending everything with the lightest shade (i.e. R32). The leaves are colored with G29, G28, and G07 for the darker petals and the two lighter leaves are colored with YG06 and YG00. The centers of the flowers are colored with Y15 and Y13.
Coloring to me is very therapeutic. I will admit most of my cardmaking features heavily die cut cards, but at times, I do like to pull out my Copic markers to make a very colorful card. The background of the card was made with 1 inch black and white strips of cardstock that I adhered to my slim line card base with liquid adhesive.
I die cut the floral image with the coordinating die from the set and adhered it to the card with liquid adhesive. The sentiment comes from the Memory Box Joyful Moments stamp set that was stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. Then I embellished the card with my new favorite metallic pearls.
I hope you have enjoyed today's card share and have found inspiration. Until next time crafty friends....Happy Crafting!
