Fall Hugs
by Marybeth Lopez

Hello , Marybeth Lopez  here today with a fall-ish hug card, using Poppystamps dies, and memory box papers.

As you will see ,  pictured below I couldn't make up my mind on what colors I wanted to use.  I changed them as I went along and even glued on top of a color I did want. The different layers give lots of dimension in person.

I ended up not using any of the yellow or orange. I glued everything on my watercolor cardstock .

The leaves are from , Maple Symphony and the hug is called Luscious Script Hugs.

I used the plaid with gold,  patterned paper again called Madras Plaid Coral and Green all listed and linked below.

I placed the card on top of this mug / rug/ coaster that I made because the colors went well together.

I used the word ( Hugs) because this will post the day before  911  anniversary 20 years ago. I felt many might need a paper hug.

God bless and keep you all. Hope you get some crafty time in this weekend.

This is stunning. I love the addition of the plaid.

Hi Marybeth, Stunning !! Clean and simple, but oh so elegant, I adore the balloon style sentiment letters and the plaid is divine, and the falling leaves are gorgeous colours. The sentiment of 'hugs' will be so comforting for the sadness of the 20th Anniversary of 9/11.
Take care.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
