All the Happiness
Hello there crafty friends! Hope you are all having a wonderful week. Today I am coming on the blog to share with you this beautiful floral card using products from our sister company, Memory Box.
I am in need of a few thank you cards; so I decided to pull out this large 6x9 stamp set called All the Happiness from Memory Box to make a set of mini slim line cards. In addition to the floral stamp set, today's card, also uses the Memory Box Spring Plaid Slim sheets, Stitched Rectangle Trimmings die set, and the Joyful Moments stamp set for my sentiment.
Mini slim line cards are just as popular as the regular sized slim line cards. They measure 6.25 inches long by 7 inches wide and are scored at 3.5 inches. Mini slim line cards make great note cards and can easily fit a security business sized envelope.
To begin, I stamped the floral image in Versamark ink onto a scrap pieces of white card stock and heat embossed it with Ranger Fine Detailed gold embossing powder. Next I took my Copic Markers and colored the floral image, then die cut the image using the coordinating die from the stamp set.
Next, I die cut the stitched rectangle from both a piece of white card stock and gold card stock. Since this die cuts a thin stitched frame. I paired the gold frame from the gold card stock with the inner piece of the frame cut from the white card stock. I sponged on some Tumbled Glass distress oxide ink onto the white panel, then stamped the sentiment from the Joyful Moments stamp set in Versafine Onyx ink.
Next, I trimmed the patterned paper to 6.25 inches x 3.5 inches and adhered it to my mini slim line card base with liquid adhesive. I then added the sentiment panel and the flowers to the card with 3M foam tape. Lastly I embellished the card with some gold metallic pearls from my stash.
I hope you have enjoyed today's card project and found inspiration. I also hope that you will try making a slim line card for your next project. Until next time....Happy Crafting.
