Happy Birthday
by Candice Crawford
Hey there crafty friends. Candice here back on the blog with a simple coloful card project for all of you. Today's card is using the Marzipan Alphabelt die set and several card stock strips fromt he Memory Box card stock packs.
This card is so bright, cheery and colorful it just makes me smile. I simply took sheets of the colored cardstock from the Memory Box Cardstock packs in Ocean Blue, Sunny Orange, Lush Green, Berry Red, Vibrant Violet and cut them into 1/2 by 4.50 inch strips then attached them in rainbow order onto an A2 size cardbase using some liquid adhesive.
Next I took my corner rounder punch and rounded each of the corners of the card base. This to me gave the card a more polished look. Next I die cut the Sentiment Happy Birthday from from white cardstock in my stash using the Marzipan alphabet die set.
Each letter was die cut twice and layered on top of one another using some liquid adhesive. I used the lines from the 1/2 inch cardstock strips to let line up the sentiment to ensure it was straight.
This simple card was very easy to make. With all of the left over stirps I can easily mass produce several cards in not much time at all. I hope you have enjoyed today's card share and found inspiration. Until next time.....happy crafting.
