Hello Friends!

The Dog Days of Summer are here, and pups of all sizes couldn't be happier! From melting popsicles on the ground to sprinklers in the grass, every dog has its day on a dog day afternoon! Let's celebrate our four-legged friends with a bright and sunny card for our Poppystamps August Challenge, Anything Goes! Are you playing along?

Our challenges are easy to enter. All you have to do is create a card or project that features at least one Poppystamps product, link it up on our Challenge page, and you might be randomly selected for some sweet summer prizes!

This cheery card was so much fun to make! I started with a bright blue card base background, and cut the Whittle Sunshine, Whittle Dog, Whittle Popsicle, and Whittle Clouds. Then I cut the phrase DOG DAYS in rainbow colors and again in white to create a little bright contrast. The Marzipan Alphabet is my new favorite, making fun casual letters for any occasion.

Once all the pieces were cut, I stamped the phrase IT'S ALL GOOD from the Clear Stamp Set, Marzipan Greetings. I centered it onto a cut from Word Balloons, and captured this doggie's thoughts at his new found treasure!

I took a foam pop circle, cut it in half, and placed them both on my Word Balloon cut. I also used a tiny end from the red Whittle Cloud I cut and added it to the end of the Whittle Popsicle, to make it look like it had begun to melt.

Then I assembled it all together for a bright and breezy summer card, perfect for your pooch-loving pals!

Now it's your turn! We can't wait to see what you'll create for this month's challenge, Anything Goes! Poppystamps has so much to choose from too, from our Whittles collection to our newest art deco borders and frames. What inspires you?

Hi Michele, Such a cheery card and the Whittle dog looks like he's going to enjoy licking that melting popsicle.
