Art Deco Happy Birthday by Sue McRae

Happy Monday everyone! Sue here with an easy card that comes together quickly with the use of patterned paper.

I’m using the new Reeded Deco Curve Border that goes with the Art Deco theme that was released a few weeks ago.

I die cut the border twice in purple from the Frosted Glitter Pad and adhered them to a plaid design from the Madras Plaid Blue and Violet Paper Pad, making sure to centre the borders on the design. It’s more pleasing for the eyes.

For the sentiment I used silver from the Polished Foil Paper Pad and the Happy Birthday Poe Script.

To finish off the card I added Fairy Jewels in clear on the four corners. You could definitely add more Fairy Jewels to glitz it up. I also think this is a great card design for a guy with the plaid. Just choose a different colour palette!
