Hello Summer
by Nancy Penir
Summer's in full swing, and Poppystamps has some new alphabet dies that will help you make bright and happy summer cards!
I love creating a background from alphabet dies, and the new Marzipan Alphabet is bold and easy to cover the front of an A2 size card, or any size, for that matter.
I put the letters on a piece of washi tape, and cut them out 5 times. (Don't forget the extra M!)
There's a few ways to adhere your letters to the card, I chose to glue each one, which gives me time to eye how they're lining up.
Hello is from another of the new alphabet dies in the store, and has a die for the back of the word, 'Hello'.
I used vellum to back my word, and partially inked the back in aqua, kind of an ombre look.
This card's going to a grandson. I added the Whittle sea creatures because he loves anything sea related! I think the card would look cute with ice cream or popsicle dies too!
Hope your summer's full of sunshine, and of course, happy crafting!

Hi Nancy, This is a truly 'feel-good' card, it really lifts the spirits. I love how you have used the vellum, and I'm really loving how these alphabet dies look when they are cut, and of course the Whittles are so so cute. Your Grandson will absolutely love this.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
