Hey there crafty friends, Candice here, back again on the blog to share another card using the Sunflower Wreath stamp set from Memory Box. This stamp set is gorgeous and the individual flower images are so versitle. Today I am using the flower and leaf images from the set to make a gorgeous bouquet.
I have paird this stamp set with the Poppystamps Jar Collection die set to create my bouquet. I used the middle die of this collection for my card today. I also used my B00 and B01 Copic markes to add some shading to the edges of the jar for the appearance of water.
For the sentiment I used the stamp "you are the sunshine in my life" on the jar element to create complete the look. The card is also complimented with the double diamond lattice plate for a added texture.
With your Copic markers you will color the flower petals with Y21, your lightest shade first. Then use Y24 your darkest shade to color the shadow portions. Then blend both colors together using your mid-tone Y19. For the center of the flower you will use E55 the lighter shade first, then E57 for the shadows and blend with the E55.
For the leaves I used YG95 as my lighter shade first, then the shadows were highlighted with YG99. To blend both colors, I used my YG95 marker.
To assemble my card, I cut a 4.25 x 5.5 inch piece of yellow cardstock and adhered it to my A2 size white cardbase. Next I adhered the lattice background to the card with some liquid adhesive. To create the bouquet, I popped up the jar image with some 3M foam tape and adhered it to the card. Then with my liquid adhesive, I added the sunflower and leaves popping up one of the flowers with foam tape.
There you have it, a beautiful Sunflower Bouquet. I hope you are falling in love with this stamp set as much as I am and found some inspiration. Thank you for tunning into the blog today. Until next time...Happy Crafting!
