Hi there! Marybeth Lopez  here today, channeling my inner Jeanne :)  I loved using the memory box Berry Red paper pad collection all on one card. In case you didn't know this paper is 110 lb. cardstock . I always seem to use the pink pad.

When I layered the " Poppystamps Happy Birthday Poe Script" die I was going to use only foil and then decided I wanted white with only a bit of the gold showing. I Love how that turned out.... I just adhered the white die-cut  and slid it down and to the left  . What do you think? I love the look of just a bit of gold showing.

I cut all my paper 1/2 in. strips, I then used my tape runner and added tape to the card then started placing my strips down on a slant. After all the strips were adhered I trimmed my panel down.  I am sure glue is used most but this tape lets me pick up and reposition just a bit more.

I am pretty happy with the fun color strips background. I wanted the background  to stand out and not conflict with the beautiful blooms, all linked below.

The blooms are called Wild Rose Stem from memory box.

Thank you for the visit today. Another happy crafty day for me, I hope you find time to have one as well.

Hi Marybeth, I had to chuckle at your wording about channeling your inner Jeanne !! I love your card, the background strips (I'm loving your patience) perfectly complement the sentiment and the beautiful wild rose die-cuts. I love it.
Take care.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
