Thinking About You Always

Happy Memorial Day! Hope you are all enjoying the holiday.  Today, I am back on the blog showcasing a bright and cheery card using the Woven Basket Pop Up Easel set that released in early spring. This basket die is perfect for Easter and any occasion.  Although this die makes a Pop Up Easel card, the basket image can be used on its own to create a great focal image for an A2 size card.

The Basket die comes with several greenery pieces that I used along with the flower dies from the Fern and Daisy Pop Up Easel Set. I also used the butterfly die from this set and some of the greenery pieces to complete the full floral basket. The centers of the flowers were embellished with some white nuvo drops for added dimension.

To add a bit of interest to the card I sponged on some Mustard Seed Distress Oxide ink in the background.  The sentiment comes from the Greeting Basics stamp set and I used one of the sentiment frame dries from the Christmas Quotes stamp and die set to cut of the sentiment to adhere it to the basket with foam tape.

There is  a ton of dimension on this card and I absolutelylove it.  From the layered flowers and greenery to the layered basket pieces and butterfly, this basket image jumps off the card with so much texture. I hope you've enjoyed today's cardshare and found inspiration.

Until next time...happy crafting. Candice Floral Signature copy
