A Simple Hello
by Marybeth Lopez
Hello there friends of Poppystamps ! Marybeth Lopez , here today sharing a simple, hello card to brighten anyones day. I did some ink blending on white cardstock then used the beautiful: Poppystamps Pinpoint Half Ring Plate. Oh how I love the subtle texture it gives to any panel. I will be using this one quite a bit.
Above you can see I started at the bottom on the panel and worked my way up.
I used the Poppystamps :Hello Poe Script and die cut it out of memory box glitter paper, linked below.
I also added bits of glitter to the beautiful blooms from memory box called All the Happiness also linked below.
I will be honest , at first I had a different Design for this card and then messed it up, so I needed something large to cover up my mistake, the large bloom was just the ticket. I think it was a happy accident as I like this much better. I still think enough of the pretty panel shows nicely.
Below is a close up of the beautiful detail from the Pinpoint plate.
I didn't want to color the large bloom as I wanted the background to shine , I do love uncolored images on cards.
I hope you like my happy mistake today. Hope you have a wonderful week ahead, I will be back soon with another card.
Take care.

Hi Marybeth, This CAS card is lovely, the blending of colours used is amazing, and your blending brush co-ordinates beautifully with the colours you used haha, a happy accident and a beautiful card. I absolutely adore the effect of the pinpoint background.
Stay safe, stay well.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
You've made me put that cover plate on my wishlist, Marybeth! Beautiful ink blending & love the white focal point! I've been loving that look lately, so maybe now I'll give it a try!
