A Newt Day
by Kim Singdahlsen

PS Newt Day BL

There's a brand new release at Poppystamps!!  As if that weren't exciting enough, guess what it is called?  Whittle Wonders! I am passionately in love with the Whittles and this release adds many more types - farm animal, sea life, food and more.  Then there are two more Whittle sentiment sets.

I used a variety of dies with a Southwestern look mostly because I had to use the Whittle Lizard which I am pretending is a newt because I adore that sentiment.

The Whittle Cactus Trio is a perfect accent for that little guy.  I love the details on them. Then there's the new Whittle Sunshine with the cute little face. I love layering up scenes with a variety of dies so I tucked him in between a few cacti and added dimensional adhesives behind his head and behind a few of the cacti.

That face just has to make the recipient smile, doesn't it?

I used a variety of Memory Box cardstock pads to create my stripes that are meant to be sort of give the feeling of a sunrise in somewhat southwestern colors.  The background needed a little something so I added the new Memory Box Waves 3D Embossing Folder thinking it could be swirling wind.

Be sure to check out the entire new release here.  I've just used a few of the new dies but there are so many others and they are all so cute!!

Enjoy shopping!
