Shake It Up Challenge with Poppystamps
by Michele K. Henderson
Hello Friends!
We are so glad that you have dropped by the Poppystamps blog today! I am thrilled to be sharing my colorful Bright Bunny Shaker for our Poppystamps March Challenge, Shake It Up! Take a look!
I loved using dies from our newest release, and even some brand new Memory Box papers too, in order to create a cheerful shaker card filled with sparkly sequins. Cutting out a window from the Double Diamond Lattice Plate made a great shaker window too.
I started out by selecting a spring paper pattern from the Memory Box Cottage Meadow Paper Pack PP1003, and trimming it to fit underneath the Double Diamond Lattice Plate, cut in white.
Before I adhered the two sheets together, I took a pair of sharp scissors and cut out the intersecting grid lines from the Double Diamond Lattice Plate. This made the perfect shaker window.
I then cut out a collection of colorful daisies, ferns, leaves, and a butterfly from the Fern and Daisy Pop-Up Easel Set, and added the bunnies from Spring Bunnies.
I filled the shaker window with shiny sequins in aqua, teal, green, and purple, pretty spring colors. Then I chose this lovely butterfly print pattern from the Memory Box Springtime Bouquet PP1006, and then sandwiched it all together. Now we've got a shaker!
Now it’s your turn to play along with our challenge. Create a project following the theme, use at least one Poppystamps image or die, and link it up here. The design we love best will receive our winner badge to proudly display on their blog, and one lucky random winner will receive a prize. You don't have to have a blog to play. You can link to any online gallery. In fairness to other players, we reserve the right to remove entries that do not use at least one Poppystamps image. We ask that you link a maximum of 3 entries to each challenge. You are welcome to link your design to other challenges. Grab our badge to post on your blog post or sidebar!
Thanks so much for joining us today!
