Quick Cards

Hello crafty friends, Happy Friday!

Are you needing to replenish your card stash? Do you need to make a few cards, but are pressed for time?  Then do I have a treat for you.  Simply run to your washi tape collection and roll out that washi onto some white card stock.

For these cards today I am using a larger roll of washi tape from Poppystamps. Unfortunately this washi tape has now retired, but any large size washi tape will work for this project.

After rolling your washi tape onto some card stock, trim the card stock panels to any size you desire to fit your A2 size card base.

For the first two cards, I cut my washi tape panels into two separate pieces. One piece measured 2.75 x 5.5 and adhered the panel onto my A2 card base horizontally with a thin strip of gold card stock to cover the seam.

The second card I used the full 4.25 x 5.5 washi tape panel and adhered it to my card base with some liquid adhesive.  I then took the scraps of the panel and fussy cut a few flower images from the washi tape design to use as my focal image on my 3.5 x 4.75 card front panel.

I then stamped the sentiments from the Peony Garden Corner stamp set in Versa Fine Onyx black ink.

For this next card, the washi tape panel was cut to 1.5 x 5.5 and adhered to the card base that included the Lattice Plate background. I added another thin strip of gold card stock to cover the seam between the washi tape and the lattice background.

For the focal image, I layered together a large and medium size heart die cut onto the card with some foam tape.  The larger heart was cut from vellum and the medium size heart was cut with some pink card stock from my stash. Then lastly stamped with a sentiment from the Peony Garden stamp set.

And there you have 3 quick and easy cards that can be massed produced to replenish your stash.  I hope you've enjoyed today's card share and found inspiration. Until next time... Happy Crafting!
