Basket of Fun
by Michele K. Henderson
Hello Friends!
We are so glad you have decided to hop on over to our Poppystamps blog today! Have you SEEN this adorable new Woven Basket Pop Up Easel Set, new from Poppystamps?! Of course you have, because it creates the most wonderful Easter card, and all of the designers are putting together colorful baskets and bunnies just in time for Easter. Today I am sharing one more. Take a look!
There are so many ways you can create sweet little Easter scenes with just a few dies. I hope you've been following for a while and have had a chance to see just how much versatility is in the Pop Up Easel Sets, and all the amazing ideas our design team has been presenting. Today I created a colorful and cheery basket just using the die cuts cut from bright card stock.
I cut out all the pieces of the Woven Basket Pop Up Easel Set, the Spring Bunnies, and the Farm Fresh Eggs, and assembled them onto the brilliantly designed base of the Woven basket Pop Up Easel card. All the hard work and measuring and sizing has already been done for you. Just cut out the images and adhere in place!
I cut out a few daisies from the fern and Daisy Pop Up Easel Set, and added them to my basket handle. Then I used a few sparkly drops of Open Studio Fairy Sugar in Strawberry Ice for the sparkly eye of the flowers.
I love how you can take the finished card and fold it flat to write a message on the inside, then put it inside an envelope. The card recipient can then open it up like an easel and display it among the jelly beans and the paper grass! Adorable!
Thank you so much for dropping by today!
