Happy Tuesday! Have you seen the new spring release for Poppystamps yet? If you haven’t stop by the store here to check it out!

I’m using the new Diamond Sentiments stamp and die set for this quick and simple card. I took the leafy frame image and white heat embossed it on vellum. After I die cut it I used a white pencil crayon to add shading to some of the leaves on the back side of the vellum.

There are so many wonderful sentiments in this stamp set and I gold heat embossed one of them in the centre of the diamond frame. The great thing about this leafy frame is that you can use it horizontally or vertically on your projects and the sentiments can fit either way as well.

The plaid paper I used on my card base is from the new Madras Plaid Coral & Green Paper Pack. I’m absolutely smitten with the colours and patterns in this pad and the companion pad Madras Plaid Blue & Violet. I really like how you can see the plaid colours and design through the vellum focal piece.

I added a bit of sparkle with the Happy Birthday sentiment die cut from the new Graceful Garden Glitter Paper Pad and finished off with a few gold gems.

Thanks for stopping by the blog today and have a great week!

Hi Sue, I love the colours on the plaid paper, and the vellum stamping and embossing is stunning.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
