Meadow Flowers on Lattice
by Kim Singdahlsen
Welcome to 2021!! I am thrilled to be doing my first post of the year and it includes some old favorites by Poppystamps and a brand new die!!
There are a number of new dies in the 2021 Valentines release but the first one I wanted to play with is the Lattice Plate. I love dies like this. I'm typically a clean and simple cardmaker, so you don't see a lot of patterned paper on my cards. Dies like this that just let the background peek through give me a clean look while allowing me to use beautiful patterned papers.
I added a trio of the previously released die Meadow Flowers. I love the graceful look of this die. I did do some snipping on the stems to give them slightly different looks. For the tall flower, the actual stem only goes down to the sentiment panel and I added another piece of stem below to make it appear taller. I didn't adhere the petals nor the leaves because I wanted dimension. I also added the smallest butterfly from Intricate Cut Butterflies and I only adhered the middle. Both the butterflies and the center of the flowers use glitter paper to add to the elegant look.
The Lattice Plate is already stored in my go-to box of essential dies - those basic dies that I keep close because I might use them on any or every card card no matter the style or theme!!
Definitely check out the rest of the new release in the Poppystamps store. Besides the fabulous Lattice Plate, there are new Whittles!!!

Hi Kim, Really lovely, I adore the patterned paper peeping through the beautiful lattice plate and the meadow flower die-cuts match the patterned paper colours beautifully.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
Gorgeous card, this is one of the prettiest florals I’ve ever seen, I adore the palette you’ve used on this design!
A great card! I always like your style!
