Hi there crafty friends! I hope you all had a safe and happy holiday. Today I am coming on the blog to share another holiday card. Yes, I know Christmas has past, but some of you may still be looking to send out your 2020 holiday cards, so here is another sample of quick and easy cards you can send out to family friends.
Today's card is using the Festive Noel die along with the Christmas Quotes stamp and die set.
To get started, I first die cut my background panel from a sheet of 6x6 patterned paper from the Memory Box Garland paper pad using the double stitched rectangle frame die. Next I adhered both the frame and the rectangle patterned pieces together to my green cardstock card base with some tape runner adhesive.
Then I die cut the Noel sentiment twice from the Festive Noel die. I die cut the sentiment and frame cnce from a scrap piece of gold foil cardstock, then again from a scrap piece of red glitter cardstock. Next I paper pieced the glittered letters of Noel into the gold foiled framed sentiment using some clear tape to on the back of the sentiment to hold both the frame and die cut letters together. I attached the combined foiled and glittered sentiment to the center of my card with some foam tape.
Next I stamp the coordinating sentiment "Christmas is in the air" onto a strip of black cardstock with some Versamark ink. I then sprinkled fine detailed white embossing powder from Hero Arts and heat set the sentiment with my heat gun. Then I die cut the sentiment strip with the coordinating banner die using my Gemini Junior die cutting machine. Lastly I adhered the sentiment strip to the card with some foam tape.
And there you have it! Another clean and simple, yet elegant christmas card the comes together in minutes. I hope you have enjoyed today's card project and found inspiration. Until next time.... happy crafting!
