Hey there crafty friends, Candice here on the blog to share with you a quick and easy Christmas card that can easily be mass produced. Today's card features the Snowy Merry Christmas die and the Garland pattern paper from Memory Box.
With just 4 more days till Christmas, if you're needing a quick and easy card to make and get into the mail or to accompany a handmade gift; today's card share is the perfect project for you. To get started, you will need to cut the Poppystamps Snowy Merry Christmas die once from green cardstock and twice from red cardstock. If you want even more dimension, you can cut the sentiment from the red cardstock three times instead of twice.
Next adhere the red sentiment pieces together one on top of each other with some liquid adhesive. Then with the green sentiment, adhere this piece onto the red sentiment slightly ajar so that you create a red shadow background to the sentiment. With a snow marker add the liquid snow to the top of the "Merry" portion of the sentiment then use you heat gun to make the white liquid puff up to a snowy dimension.
With your Double Stitch Rectangle Frame die, cut a sheet of pattern paper from the Garland 6x6 Paper pad to use as your background for the card. Then adhere the patterned paper and coordinating frame together onto your cardbase with some liquid adhesive.
Next cut a strip of red glitter cardstock to 4.25 x 2.25 and adhere it to the center of the patterned paper. Then cut a strip of gold cardstock to 4.25 x 2 and adhere the glitter cardstock with liquid adhesive. Then finally cut a piece of cream cardstock to 4.25 x 1.75 and adhere this piece on top of the gold cardstock with liquid adhesive. Trim off any excess cardstock from the edges of the card.
This card is absolutely stunning and has a ton of dimension. You will enjoy creating this quick and easy card for your friends and family. I hope you have enjoyed today's quick card share and found inspiration. Until next time.... happy crafting.
