Holiday Joy By Jeanne Jachna

Hi friends!  I hope you're having a great day!  Today I'm sending you a little holiday joy with some beautiful Poppystamps poinsettia die cuts!  The bold bright florals are sure to make you smile!  

I started by cutting the Delicate Poinsettias.  This is a three die set that includes three flowers in three different sizes.  I cut each of the three layers from three different shades of red card stock and adhered them together. 

I added foliage using the Mod Poinsettias die cut.  I used the largest flower and cut the petals apart to create leaves.   I tucked in some leafy fronds using the Garden Leaves and Berries die.   The different shades of green add some depth and dimension to the images. 

I arranged the flowers on a piece of clear plastic the same size as my card base.  This made it easy to pick up the entire arrangement to help me decide what color the background should be.   I decided on blue for lots of contrast. 

The holidays demand a little bling - it's like a sprinkle of magic that just makes things a little extra special.  I added some gold jewels to the poinsettia centers and die cut the Joy Outline letters with gold glitter paper.
