Hello crafty friends, Candice here with a quick and easy autumn card for you today. The Autumn Leaves Sidekick frame was released last fall and is the perfect die for creating quick and easy fall themed cards. To get started, simply die cut the leaves frame from a piece of 4.25 inch x 5.5 inch white card stock.
Next with your ink blending tools, I am using some ink daubers, sponge some distress oxide inks onto the frame. I am using the Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Candied Apple and Carved Pumpkin for the frame and the leaves. The background of the card is colored with Chipped Sapphire, Faded Jeans and Black Soot Oxide inks and made from a 4.25 inch x 5.5 inch white card stock.
When die cutting the leave frame from the white card stock, a 2 x 3.25 inch piece will be left over from the die cut. Stamp the sentiment "The air is crisp and filled with the wild Colors of Autumn" from the Autumn Leaves stamp set in some black onyx Versafine ink.
Next adhere the inked leave frame onto the blue colored card front piece with your choice of adhesive. Then adhere these two pieces to your card base. I think liquid adhesive is best when making my cards as it provides a stronger hold. Next inlay the stamped sentiment onto the inked leaf frame with some liquid adhesive. And your card is complete. Quick, easy and stunning.
I hoped you've enjoyed today's card share and found some inspiration. Until next time, happy crafting.
