Pop Up Boo by Michele K. Henderson

Hello and Happy Boos to everyone in our spooky Poppystamps family! I just love making Halloween cards, and lucky for me, Poppystams has some really darling little spooky characters that are perfect for some sweetly scary cards this year! Take a look!

 

Isn't that little guy cute? He's from our brand new Whittle Monsters die set, dancing through the pumpkin patch on this Pop Up Boo Halloween card! I used a dark palette of black, deep navy blue, oranges and white to create this Halloween scene from the Adriana Pop Up Easel Die set.

 

The Adriana Pop Up Easel Set is a complete die set that includes all the die to create and score this amazing pop up easel base and card front. I cut the base piece in black, the front panel in black, and the cover panel with the oval and the leaves in navy blue, and layered it all together.

 

I cut the Twisted Tree Oval in black, then again in blue, and then fit the pieces together to create this outdoor nighttime scene.

 

I also took a small holed paper punch and cut a group of tiny orange circles, and placed them over the tiny berries from the Adriana Pop Up Easel piece.

 

Oh, it's coming together now! I cut the Whittle Monsters in bright white, and added the skeleton guy and a few pumpkins from Pile of Pumpkins on the front. Scary, but in a friendly way! Open the Pop Up Easel card and you will find . . .

a pop up BOO all for you! I used the Boo Outline and Squeaker Ghosts for the inside. This card is a little dark and hard to read anyway if I tried to write on the inside, so I am going to enclose a little spooky note inside the envelope.

You can stand the Easel card to reveal the BOO, and the tiny ghosts will remain hidden in their secret spot. This card was so much fun to make! I hope you give it a try and create something sweet and spooky for your Halloween pals!
