Winter Porch Pop Up Easel Card
by Nancy Penir
Poppy Peeps, the year is closing fast, and the holidays are right around the corner... time for holiday card making! Poppystamps has a new die set called Winter Porch Pop Up Easel, and I have a little inspiration today you might find interesting. Have you ever made an easel card?
It's super simple with the right dies, and Poppystamps has 'em!
The front of an easel card rests on a piece on the inside, and best of all, it fits into an A2 sized envelope.
First I die cut all the pieces. You'll notice I tripled the windows and door, and doubled the triangle eve wanting extra dimension for those pieces.
All 7 pieces are included in the set.
Once put together, the fun begins! Time to dress up the front! Snowy eaves, a glitter tree, and holiday wreath. Hard to miss that this is a happy holiday greeting card!
The Front of the easel tilts open and back, resting on a piece I Created from Birch Press Nobilia set.
Here's a closeup of the Nobilia medallion, thrice cut and showing the edges of all three die cuts. Looks like a holiday front porch mat, doesn't it?
The inside of the card is dressed up too, with a greeting from another new set just released, Holly Merry Christmas. All the deets on product used will be listed below.
Have a wonderful rest of your weekend, and stay safe. Indoors crafting is a great way to escape the summer heat!
