Roses and Butterflies
by Tina Wilstrup
Hello everyone! For today's card I've played with a couple of shimmery watercolor pigment powders and some Memory Box products.
I first white heat embossed the flowers on watercolor cardstock.
I carefully dabbed the colors on and spritzed with water. With a paper towel I dried off the edges and any spots that were too dark, but I didn't overdo the use of water because I feel the powders truly shine when the pigment is allowed to do it's own thing.
After it was completely dry I buffed off the color that was on top of the embossing powder.
I cut a piece of vellum to size and dry embossed it. I white heat embossed the sentiment on the same color cardstock I used for base. I first adhered the flower and sentiment to the vellum which allowed for glue on the back of the vellum. Here I'm trying to show you the shimmery galaxy like flowers.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on this. Stay safe and crafty.
