Peace Love and Merry Christmas..
By Pam Simpson
Hello Everyone, I wanted the main focal point on this card to be "Merry Christmas" sentiment from poppystamp, I have used the Poppystamps "Lamplight Pathway as a background for this die.
I cut in white card Lamplight Pathway, using low tack tape, roughly taped where I wanted the light to shin.
Using a brush I inked the background with Distress Oxide ink."faded Jeans", for a night sky.
I sprayed using water and left to dry.
To create a frame, I have used 2 largest Memory Box "Wrapped Stitched Rectangles"
Disregard the center, I only used the outer frame, I also inked the edges.
Background nearly finished, just to add some Aleens Glitter Snow..this is a paste I use.
For the "Merry Christmas" I have used Memory Box 6x6 papers pads..Glitter Pages Red..Frosted Glitter Black.. cut the read first and double sided sticky tape to hold the Merry in place, I cut away the black Christmas, then adhered to the red Merry ..black to create an outline. The frame has 3 D foam tape, adhered to a slight bigger mat of black card .
Decorated with Snowflakes, these I cut apart from "Snowflake Tall Curve Border. clear droplets gems. Peace, Love And ..old Poppystamps "Tidings Of Joy" clear stamps.. This card is flat for shipping/posting ..Finished card 5.1/2 inches x 6.1/2 inches ..

Lots of love from Patricia xx
You find the most interesting ways and techniques to use the various dies. I especially love the simplicity of the card design, knowing the recipient will see all of the creative work that went into making it.
