Happy 4th of July
by Nancy Penir
Hello, and Happy 4th of July!
Celebrating the USA today with a red white and blue watercolor and die cuts card.
Using Poppy's new watercolor card stock, I spritzed the card with water, just touching the card with color in random places.
Next, I added the blue. If there were puddles, I picked them up the a paper towel.
I chose dies I thought looked like fireworks exploding in the sky, like Poppy's new, Brillant rings. Notice I left them together.
Once dry, I added my panel to a card front, and began adding my die cuts in red white and blue glitter card stock. It's really fun to play with your dies, using them in non traditional ways.
Here I had to get a bit creative for my sentiment. Using Doodle Happy Birthday and Doodle Happy Easter dies,
I cut up the letters in the happy and easter to create U S A.
Here's hoping you have a happy and safe 4th of July!
