Hello Poppy fans, I hope you are safe and well. Summer has finally come here in Denmark and recently my husband and I celebrated our 17th anniversary. I'm a very lucky woman to have my best friend and super supportive husband by my side. This year I kept it simple, some might even say girly. But he loved it.

I started by spraying a liquid ink onto a panel of watercolor cardstock. I did this outside, because I didn't want the ink all over the floors. I spritzed a couple of times and then, while it was still wet, I poured over pink glitter. When it had dried completely I carefully removed the excess glitter by tilting the panel. I didn't flick it, because I didn't want to risk all the glitter falling off.

I then cut the Confetti Heart plate from white cardstock and adhered on top of the watercolor panel. In this close-up you can see the glitter.

I stamped a sentiment, cut it with my trimmer and poped it up for dimension.

I would love to hear from you. Until next time, happy crafting!

Hi Tina, Congratulations to you and your hubby, 17 wonderful years. Like you, I am married to my best friend too, we are so lucky.
Your card is really pretty, I love your technique with the spraying and tipping glitter onto the spray, and then putting the confetti heart frame on top provides the most beautiful card.
Stay safe, stay well.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
