Washi Frame

Hello crafty friends, Sue here with a very quick and simple card idea. If you need a card in a hurry, this project is for you!

I took some of the Memory Box wide Washi Tape and covered an A2 sized card panel with each design of washi tape. These tapes are so pretty with the floral and greenery designs! Then all you have to do is pick a die to cut out from these washi panels. I chose the Adriana Square Frame and die cut it from each of the washi panels to see what kind of look I could get. In the end I chose the panel with the Sunset Blush Washi because I liked the random sprinkling of colours throughout and all the white space it still left on the frame. It reminded me of loose watercolouring. The good think is, I still have the other frames to quickly make another card when needed.

Since the Adriana Frame is square I decided to go for a square card. I cut a piece of blue striped patterned paper from the Springtime Bouquet Paper Pad to 4.25" square and adhered the frame ontop.

I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment in the centre of the frame and mounted this piece with foam tape and attached it to a 4.5" square card base.

To finish off the card I added a few gems for some sparkle. That's it and the card is complete!

I hope this gives you some ideas on using your washi tape with your dies to make quick and easy cards.

Have a happy and safe crafty week!
