Thinking of You
by Marybeth Lopez
Hello crafty friends! Marybeth here today with a : Thinking of you card , almost anyone would love a thinking of you card during these difficult and crazy times.
I used memoryBox : Birthday Rose Corner stamp and die set for my card. I placed the large stamp as shown above . After I stamped my image I placed the die on the image as shown below. This was going to be the top of my card and last minute I placed it on the lower portion of my card.
I cut two layers one of the image above and one of craft foam to give the rose dimension.
I used Zig brush pens to color in the image but didn't want to use water so I first colored little sections at a time with the shimmer pen then blended the color on top, love how it turned out and I didn't use watercolor cardstock.
The base panel is patterned paper from memory Box , I used the striped paper. The sentiment is from Poppystamps called : Friendship and Kindness.
Thank you for the visit today. Hope you find some time to craft this weekend.
I just have to say thank you to PATRICIA HOWARTH for always leaving such kind and thoughtful comments on ... my /our... Poppystamps post. Your kindness is heartwarming. ( maybe its your job :) thank you and all who take the time to comment. ( I know I am the worst at leaving comments on blogs, but a bit better on Instagram
God bless and take care.

Love how you just used a portion of the stamp, great tip on using the sparkle pen first then the color, I was using mine today but did it opposite and it didn't work well that way, sweet sentiment too!
A beautifully designed and meaningful card, Mary Beth. Thank you for sharing the tip of using a shimmer pen first. It made an amazing difference.
