Hello Crafty Friends!

Thanks so much for dropping by today! I am having SO MUCH fun creating adorable spring scenes with our latest release from Poppystamps! Take a look at this Country Garden Wheelbarrow bringing a Spring Surprise!

This card takes a little bit of detail work to combine some of these tiny floral elements. I began by creating my card base with a bright green sky and grass background, using the new Hill and Valley Grass Border. then added the Country Garden Wheelbarrow.

I then cut the Peek a Boo Bunny in white, and a few Folk Decorated Eggs in in the pretty patterned paper from Memory Box, Springtime Bouquet. I added the bunny and an egg in the wheelbarrow, and then cut a combination of flowers, leaves, and berries to fill up the wheelbarrow, which was popped up with foam pop dots. This allowed me to place the leaves and flowers at different levels to create depth in the wheelbarrow.

Once all the flowers and leaves were in place, I brought out my FAVORITE addition to our latest release, Open Studio Fairy Sugar Glitter Glues in Strawberry Ice, Goldfinch, and Twilight. I added a tiny drop to the center of each flower. It really gives it a beautiful little sparkle when the light hits it just right. Finish the card with a few tiny butterflies from Butterfly Symphony, and you have one sweet spring surprise!
