Easter Card with Rinea Foil
by Nancy Penir
Greetings Poppy friends! And welcome to the Poppystamps blog, where we are partnering with Rinea - the maker of beautiful metallics and foiled papers. I've created an Easter Card to show you how beautifully they work with Poppystamps dies!
Many of the foiled papers are double sided, emboss like a dream, and when used with Ghost Ink (another product they sell), showcase embossed images. Read on for all the fun...
Now because I used a delicate image die, I glued my sheet of pink Rinea foil to a piece of Cardstock before die cutting.
With a small finger sponge, I tapped on the ghost ink pad, then lightly rubbed on just the image I wanted color removed. You can see on the flowers on the right, wherever the sponge was applied, the color is lifted. So cool, isn't it?
I added foam to the back for depth.
You'll notice my branch is on the right of the card before I added the bunny, which will face the branch.
I glued several strips of foil to Cardstock and die cut some eggs from each color.
The basket is also cut from foil paper, which was first die cut, and again worked with the ghost ink.
Ghost ink was lightly rubbed on the posies on the flower spray, before I added the Fairy sugar centers.
Foiled papers add glam to your design like no other! Hope you're as sold on these as I am. And hope you enjoyed a look at how easy and fun they are to use.
Speaking of hope... I do hope you're all doing well, fully stocked in toilet paper and wipes, (wink wink) and especially chocolate! Strange times, aren't they. Stay healthy friends!
