Garden Rabbit
by Marybeth Lopez
Hello and happy March to you all! Marybeth here today with a sweet Whittle Cutie Rabbit, from Poppystamps . This was a really easy card to make because the background was basically already created because I used the : Cottage Meadow patterned paper . I cut it down to 5 1/4 by 4 then added foam to the back.
I wanted to shade my rabbit but you could just use colored card stock if you wanted to. The first one was a little darker than I wanted so I made a second one just a bit lighter. I glued three rabbits together so the rabbit would be prominent on the card.
I cut some grass using the Poppystamps Hill and Valley Grass Border, then shaded it in . I cut it down to the same size as the panel .
I love this Point Picket Double Gate its two pieces and it fits the panel perfectly!!!! Love that ! I also added two layers to the Grosgrain Bow.
I added some foam ( pictured above) to the grass, because it was the perfect size but you can cut your own, if you want. I wanted the grass raised so it looks like the rabbit is sitting ing the grass with flowers.
The sentiment is from Birch Press Design : Blooming Spring.
TIP :I recommend stamping your sentiment before adding the foam to the back, it was a little thick in the MISTI because I forgot to take out the foam.
Thank you so much for the visit today ! Poppystamps has so many new products in the new Spring line, this is just a tiny sampling of all the amazing new goodies. Happy Shopping!
