Valentine Tag Cards by Nancy Penir

Valentine Poppy Greetings friends! I have a post full of Love today, using some of the latest Poppystamps release. Better have a cuppa with you, I just couldn't stop once I got started! Come take a look.

First, created my pattern Cardstock with Memory Box's new Drifting Hearts Stencil. A few with Distress Ink,

and a few with embossing paste.

To add color, I mixed a few drops of re-inker to my Mat Gel Medium. Also I lightly sprayed the back of the stencil with Pixie Spray. It's slightly sticky and holds the stencil in place and prevents the gel from spreading beyond the holes.

When the mat gel was dry, I cut out my tags. The Stitched Tunnel Tags has several sizes to choose from. I used the largest and also the 3rd largest. This is a photo of all the pieces I used on my 4 tags. 

The 3 layers of tags aren't glued together, just free to move. this one has some Valentine Washi on the bottom.

All tags have a 3rd piece of white card stock cut from the largest tag die, so I can write my message as I would

inside a card. 

The red tag on this one is stamped with one of the images from Valentine's Fun, one of Poppy's new stamp sets.

This tag was stamped with Poppy's Picnic Plaid. 

All have matching envelopes and glitter heart seals. To create the address label, I die cut smaller tag, turned it, and cut the bottom again for a mask, then stenciled on the hearts. Also added a bit of red shadow around the mask. I ran the die cut heart through my Xyron sticker maker, creating a seal for the back flap.

The tag/card measures 3 x 5 1/4" and fits perfectly in an A2 envelope.
