2020 Valentine's Blog Blitz Begins!
by Jeanne Jachna

Wild-Heart-One

What a great day for a visit!  We've got more new release products to share with you and to celebrate we're having a blog blitz.  This is a time we set aside to show you projects made with the new release and give you a chance to win some for yourself!  You can see the entire new Valentine's release here.   Today I'm sharing a card made with the new Wild At Heart Border die.

Heart-Wild-Four

Color blocking is my favorite technique when using die cuts.  It always results in clean graphic designs that let the die cuts take center stage.

Wild-Heart-Five
Color blocking is simple.. you simply take strips of colorful card stock and adhere them to your card base OR together on their reverse side.  I like to  tape the strips together so I can cut off the edges to give a cleaner look and make any size panel I like.

Wild-Heart
I adhered my completed panel to my card stock base leaving a thin border of  the card base exposed.   I cut the Wild At Heart Border die cut from white card and adhered it over the color block panel.

Wild-Heart-Two

The Hugs and Kisses sentiment is from the new Valentine's Fun clear stamp set.  It's got lots of great sentiments embellished with hearts, flourishes and brackets to make a big impression!

Wild-Heart-Three

Beautiful and fun card. The die is awesome.

what a great way to use up those 'scrap' pieces of paper we always have with this beautiful die.

Great idea!

Jeanne, your card is so very lovely and sweet. Perfect color combo to use with that Wild At Heart Border Die.

Jeanne this is so sweet with the different layers of colors all being Valentine colors!! Perfect! And another great use for washi tape!

This is another awesome card, and an awesome die. Really love the color blocking you did for the background. I think this would also work really well with ink blending.

Wow! Gorgeous card Jeanne! I love it!

What a great border die and colours!

Lovely shades of red.

Love this card! Cute and most creative. I thought it was ink blocking, and was trying to figure out how you did it. Only to read and see that it was with paper blocking! Well done! Creative and imaginative and I love it!
