Hi there crafty friends!
With just two short days till Christmas I wanted to share with all of you a last minute holiday card I made using the Blooming Poinsettia Die set and Merry Christmas Flourish.
These two dies are a match made in heaven. They coordinate so well together and create such a beautiful focal image for my card. To expand the length of the flourish for my card, I simply cut the off the sentiment and use the two remaining flourish pieces as the background to my card.
I placed one piece of the flourish above the poinsettias and the second piece below to create the illusion that the flourish is one continuous die cut. There is so much versatility with the Merry Christmas flourish which allows this die to be used all year round.
I fell so much in love with the Blooming Poinsettia die set that once I made my cute gift tags last month, I had to create a coordinated holiday card.
What I love most about this die are the beautiful details on the petals and leaves. This die cuts out such cute line details that the Poinsettias just jumps right out at you. I also like that the die is large enough to create a focal point on a tag using the Poppystamps Double Stitched Tag Frames. But the best part about this die is that is also small enough to cluster together onto the front of a card.
Here is a recap photo of the Poinsettia gift tag I created last month.
If you like matching cards and gift tags, then I hope today's project inspires you to create some handmade cuties just like these. Both the card and the gift tag come together quickly, and are very easy to make. You can easily mass produce this card and gift tag to accompany your holiday gifts. To complete today's card, I used the warmest wishes sentiment from the Flower Garden stamp set and added some glitter gold stickles to the center of my poinsettia's.
Thank you all for joining me today. Happy Holidays everyone!
