Hello friends, Marybeth here today sharing a Christmas tag. As you can see below this beautiful: Poppystamps  Merry Christmas Flourish die is gorgeous on its own! I wanted to show you how it can be altered a bit, very simply.

Since I wanted to add holly to the Christmas tag I decided to snip off the flourish part of the die, simply by cutting it off in a few places. I will also be making a few tags that are red and white without patterned paper and only the greeting.  This Merry Christmas die can fill up the whole large tag and still make a beautiful tag that can be mass produced, easily.

I used the beautiful 6x6 paper pack from Memorybox. I turned my die so the plaid would be at an angle as shown in the photo above.

I also used Double Stitch Tag dies form Poppystamps and the Holly Outline die. I love adding bells to most of my tags at Christmas. Kinda lets me know when someone might be taking a peek :)

For this tag I used the largest tag die my tag is about 3.5 by 5.3

Hope you have fun creating what ever you like to make. Thanks for the visit today!

Mary Beth, this is gorgeous!

DIE-LIGHTFUL tag!
LOVE how you gave the sentiment a "haircut" giving it a whole new look, a great way to stretch our stash too :)

so beautiful - love the plaid and color combo of everything TFS

Such a beautiful tag!! :) I love this sentiment die a lot!! <3

This sentiment die is very beautiful with or without the flourish! A must have surely. Love the tag with the plaid background, the holly and the tiny bells!

Such a pretty tag! My wish list is growing! I'd love to learn some tips on how to "inlay" these beautiful script dies, and or how to adhere them (fine tip glue pen? which brand? Double sided adhesive paper? Which brand? Xyron?) as I always seem to get at least some glue or lack of it on these beautiful intricate types of dies. Thanks so much for the awesome inspiration. I love each and every post even though I don't always leave a comment!

The plaid does it!

This is Really Beautiful!!!!

Oh my, Marybeth, this is one of my favorites! I’ve always been a Merry Christmas gal and love the plaid, especially at an angle.

Simply so gorgeous!

Very festive tag! Good, too, to see how you "adjusted" the Merry Christmas die!

So clever & beautiful, Marybeth! I'm totally in love with this tag!

Wow this is so beautiful, this is of cutting the pattern pattern at the angle actually adds so much interest. The thin cut leaves dies is so delicate and intricate.. Totally loved the look.

Love your pretty tag. Very creative with the elements you used. TFS

Hi Marybeth, Love it !! love it !! love it !! I adore the flourishy sentiment die and how you have adapted it for this tag, I adore the tartan paper you have used and I adore the holly outline die-cut and how you have paper-pieced it (so effective), and your embellishments finish this tag off beautifully.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

So lovely and festive, thanks for the inspiration.

Your tag card is so beautifully designed. tfs

Gorgeous, love the plaid and the holly with the bells!
