Happy Fall Y'all!
by Jeanne Jachna

Hi friends!  It's Jeanne here today and I'm sharing a fall card!  I just love fall!  It's my favorite time of year!  I love the cooler temperatures and watching the change of season in my area.  I'm like a little kid stomping on crunchy leaves and picking up all my favorites I find while I'm walking the dog.

My card starts with the Leafy Background die.  I cut if from white card stock, poked out all the little leaves and then inked it with distress ink.  Next I splattered it with water and set it aside to dry.  I cut the panel a second time and left all the die cut leaves in place before inking it in shades of yellow and orange.  The two panels are adhered over each other and adhered to a 4.5" square card base.

I added a small Double Stitch Circle Frame to the center of the design for a focal point and a Pointed Square Frame to the outer edge to give a finished look to the card.  I stamped a sentiment from the Autumn Leaves stamp set and adhered it over the circle with adhesive foam tape.  This makes it easy to tuck colorful Stitched Oak Trio leaves underneath.

A few Whittle Squirrels add a whimsical look to the design.   It's fun to watch them running around with their own treasures to buy and save for a later day.

I hope you have a great day filled with simple pleasures!

FABULOUS card Jeanne!
LOVE your layers of leaves and CHEERY colours :)

I love the cute little squirrel...so much cuter than real life.

Colorful fall card :)

Really Beautiful!!!

Such a colorful card, Jeanne, and the Fall leaves are awesome. Cute squirrel, too!

Adorable! Love the bright colours and the leaves... and those whittle squirrels add a lot of cuteness!!

Hi Jeanne, Gorgeous !! the beautiful 'fall' leaves with all their gorgeous colours, and the 'whimsical' squirrels complete this card beautifully.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

I love the relaxation of autumn after the work of harvest and the beautiful colours. If you laminate your leaves, cut round them and string them on gold thread, you can make a pyramid of those colours lasting months as they waft in the breeze hung in your window. It is a lovely decoration in the bleaker colours of winter. You can also draw on the leaves with a black pen, if you are careful. Leaves should blow and be stamped on!

Those leaves are so fun! TFS

Cute card, Jeanne. Just bursting with fall colors. Very inviting!

Woww esta hermosa esta tarjeta
