Joyful Holiday
by Dana Kirby
Hi Friends! It is Dana here again today with a Christmas card for you all! I am using one of my favorite products from latest release at Poppy Stamps (Holly Side Strips and Stencil) and it is also the prize for the Blog Blitz today...you can be one of the lucky winners!
I started my card by die cutting the Holly Side Strips Die from my card panel. I then backed it with red glitter paper before attaching it to my card base. I love this die, it adds an elegant touch to your card with only one pass through your die cutting machine! There is also a coordinating stencil included in this set, so you can add ink or color to your Holly. Next, I die cut the Holiday Joy die. I die cut the shadow from vellum and the word (top layer) from white cardstock. I also cut the leaves from green glitter paper. Once I had my dies adhered to my card front I inlaid the green glitter leaves back into the die cut for a little added detail.
Once I decided on my layout, my card came together rather quickly...these dies do all of the work!
Now, how about a Giveaway? Would you like to win the Holly Side Strips Die and Stencil? All you need to do is comment on my post today and you will be entered into the drawing.
