Challenge Reminder: Animal Kingdom

Hi there! Are you playing along with the Poppystamps Challenge? This month it's an Animal Kingdom theme. I love all animals, especially farm animals. We raise chickens for their eggs and ducks, just cuz they make great pets. Believe me if some critter enters our yard, they sound the alarm! My reminder card features Poppy's Whittle ducks.
I love playing around with all the fun alcohol inks, water color backgrounds and embossing folders for dramatic textural settings, and on this card I chose an already made watery background made with Lindy's stamp gang's Magicals in blues and greens. A perfect setting for my duck family.
The stripes were made with my scoring tool.
The 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" background was scored on 2 sides at 1/4" lines. I turned the card over so the lines would pop outward.
I used The Delicate Branch Collage Die to frame the ducks. And since I'm always in need of birthday cards, I chose the Doodle Happy Birthday for my sentiment.

Love the card! Background is great and the idea of scoring is helpful, too.
