Alcohol Inks
by Marybeth Lopez

Hi there, friends of Poppystamps Marybeth here again with one of my favorite dies from Poppystamps : Garden Poppy Stitched Frame. This time I used it with one of the many alcohol ink papers I made a while ago . I made so many and wasn't sure if I like them but so happy I kept them all. As you can see below with this frame die I can be selective of what part of the paper I want to use.

I sort of see the gold as grass in the wind , red as hills of poppies, and sky blue. I layered the center frame two times then added to the center .The back of the panel has fun foam to rise it off the blue base .

I've posted in the past a link to see how this is done , but you have many ways and choices of seeing videos on how to use alcohol inks.

I like how this one die, can look so different just by changing a few things. I used watercolor paper called Masters Touch ( any will do) for the white panel.

Take care and thanks for the visit.

Oh, this is so beautiful!! Love so much the poppies against the bold lovely alcohol ink background!

Mary Beth, your card is stunning. The vibrant alcohol ink background shows the white die cut to perfection. tfs

The crisp white is fabulous against that unstructured, artsy AI background, Marybeth ... so cool ... and fabulous! Hugs, Anita :)
