Hello sweet friends ! Happy June to you all!

I would like to say this was a simple card to make ( It should have been) but I had many mishaps along the way. I kept going and I am happy with the results in the end.

I used Poppystamps :Whittle Cupcake die,  Luscious Script Hello and Flower Garden Clear stamp. 

One thing that was easy was using some scraps of alcohol ink papers I made, that I saved. I die cut twice for the colors then just layered the extra pieces on top of the other, to firm it up a bit.

Below are some of my first try alcohol ink papers, didn't really know what I was doing. I  used all kinds of paper, even photo paper because its what I had.  I saved them anyway and glad I did because they work great for dies.

For a little extra detail on my panel I scored it all the way around 1/2 inch.  

One of the mishaps at the end was getting a tiny bit of ink on my hand that then ended up on the panel, I was able to use an ink eraser to get it off.

It was late in the day an I didn't have the best lighting for my photo.

I also used some of the leftover papers as shown above for the top layer of the hello then stamped with the sentiment from Flower Garden. I used the cupcake to represent sweet friend. I couldn't resist adding a bit of chunky glitter to the top of the cupcake.

Hi Marybeth, Stunning backgrounds you have made, and the background you chose for your die-cuts, suits perfectly the sentiment and the cupcake, and all finished off with the frosting glitter, stunning !!

Love the card and your amazing coloured cards. Would love to know what you used to make the striking papers.Also love to find the Hello die, wonder who sell them in the Uk. Thanks for your wonderful cards. Maria x
