Sea of Love Challenge Reminder by Robin Tharaldson
Have you entered Poppystamps challenge, PSC#57 Summer Holiday, yet??? No! Well why not? It's as easy as making a project with a summer holiday theme and use one Poppystamps product! My card features the Wavy Heart die and everytime I see this die I think of the Honeydrippers cover of the song, Sea of Love! Reminds me of a summer holiday romance, LOL!!
For my background I used Memory Box Sprinkle Dots stencil which I colored with blue ink to match my heart die cut. I cut a solid heart from scrap paper and adhered the individual pieces from the die cut onto the solid heart!
Sometimes you just HAVE to make your own sentiments and this was no exception! I used the font, American Typewriter, a few of the lyrics from the song and just hit print on my computer; easy peasy! I then cut the lyrics apart and joined them together with a small brad!
I finished my card with a simple sentiment from Poppystamps Sending Love stamp set! Here's a quick video showing how this card was made!
I hope you play along with us! The rules are simple and all the details can be found here!

It's just fabulous!!! LOVE this card!!!
Hi Robin, Wow !! you have taken me back to my younger days with these song lyrics, it was a really beautiful song and here in the UK Marty Wilde did a cover version in 1959 which went to No. 3 in our hit parade. I absolutely loved this song.
Your card is truly beautiful and has been truly nostalgic for me.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
